Sole Repair Shop, Seattle WA | Wedding Inspiration
Sole Repair Shop is a must-book Seattle wedding venue for intimate, urban weddings. I’ve been watching this venue like a hawk and was so thrilled to finally get to flower in this space. With room for up to 60 of your closest family and friends for a formal seated dinner, Sole Repair Shop - located in the super popular Capitol Hill neighborhood of Seattle - is the perfect space for the modern couple looking for an intimate wedding experience. Their open floor plan with second story make for an amazing space to create large scale flower installations. Who says an intimate wedding has to be skimpy on the florals? I say invite your crew of most beloved people and splurge on the flowers! I may be a bit biased, but the results will be spectacular.
For this wedding inspiration we created dramatic, modern and earthy florals that popped against the white walls and yummy industrial textures - exposed beams, high ceilings and unfinished wood - that make Sole Repair Shop the stylish intimate wedding venue that it is. We combined fresh and dried floral elements for lots of depth and unexpected texture. I used the original, weathered wood floors as inspiration for the focal floral installation that appears as if it’s growing out from the ground and reaching towards the west facing windows.
Fresh flowers, spring favorites like tulips, sweet peas, hellebore and ranunculus paired with gypsophilia, painted ferns, delicate dried seed pods, dried queen anne’s lace, pussy willow branches, star flower and dried poppy pods.
